I like to listen to and make music. I am a blues harmonica player and have sat in with several different bands in my life, including Eddie "The Chief" Clearwater and Southside Denny, both from Chicago, and the Taz band, a Des Moines favorite.

I like to travel to different places, especially by car as one sees more that way than from the air.

I like to do things which challenge me, such as climbing mountains ( not so steep yet).

I enjoy good food as long as it is good. It could be French or it could be a barbeque, so long as it is good.

I like pubs, preferably Irish with a musician or two playing Irish music. Guiness Stout is a MUST.

I like AMERICAN football very much and miss it here in Europe. The intent look I have on my face when watching it has endeared the expression "fooballhead" from my wife.

I enjoy playing netrek Netrek from time-to-time but the people who play are becoming VERY immature.

I enjoy philosophical discussions with my friends.

A good USENET flame war is always nice!
